Luciano Onichino

Luciano is currently enacting on his attributes as a Registered Massage Therapist (NB) and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (at the time of this writing he is in his final year of training while holding sessions with clients). It is here that his keen ability to connect and attune with others find their utmost expression.  

 His journey has been everything but linear. Of the many career paths explored; School Intervention Worker, Teacher’s Assistant, Youth Worker, stay-at-home dad (his favorite), day program worker for adults with cognitive and mental specialties, and completing his BA in Psychology (Concordia University, 1996), the common thread was one of providing care and compassion with whomever he was assigned to. 

Luciano’s childhood and youth in Montreal have him scoring high (7) on the ACE scale. It is now, after much curiosity and engagement, that he can reflect back and identify the gifts these experiences were for him. 

When Luciano is within his free time and space, you will often find him outdoors doing something, cooking (often in the company of his favorite people and furry companions), and writing poetry.
